    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a great introductory course that prepares new college students well for the difficult sciences classes that are yet to come.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course would have to be the engaging lecture itself. In class we learned about the chemistry of life, DNA, mitosis, meiosis and the nervous system.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

READ, READ and READ the textbook, go to office hours and NEVER miss lecture!

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is good biology class, I would recommend it for biology majors and people who are just really good at biology in general. Usually biology classes are mostly memorization, but in this one you actually learn concepts by thinking about them from different angles.

    Course highlights:

During the class we would sometimes get joke breaks.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

The tests in this class can be tricky, and a lot of the time people suggest using the study questions which help sometimes, but not all the time. It is important to read thoroughly and make sure you actually understand the material and not just memorize things word for word.
