Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Brown uses mostly Chinese (he switches if he sees you struggling to understand him). The course revolves around watching Chinese films and reading excerpts Chinese books.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of the course was watching Chinese films. It really gave me an idea of my level and helped with listening comprehension.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do your homework. It will make the tests so much easier and you will know what's going on in the class. If you have questions, ask. Professor Brown is very understanding and will help you. If listening (in Chinese) isn't your strong-suit, practice with films outside of class. Likewise, if speaking in Chinese is difficult, speak with friends/classmates or find a language partner.
