    | Would recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend ART 216 especially if you have little to no knowledge on art history. It is a good course to introduce you to the basic concepts and history of various forms of art, plus there are only three papers you have to write and those are the only assignments!

    Course highlights:

I found that reading Understanding Comics and a select few of the lectures to be quite interesting and would count them as the highlights of the course. Overall I learned a basic overview of the history and different style that are/were practiced now and throughout history.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

All you need to do to succeed in this class is to show up, read the very limited material and write the papers to the very lenient specifications of the professor. It's that simple!
