    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

My professor was excellent. I took the honors course as part of my physics major and I feel as if I have gotten a solid foundation in physics. I might be biased as a physics student, but I found the material interesting and the course engaging.

    Course highlights:

The discussion portion was very engaging. We modeled various scenarios using computers, and working in a group was very helpful.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, study, study. I didn't need to study in high school, but I can't say the same for this course. Actually doing the online homework will help, though you can google the answers if you're really pressed for time. Make sure you pay attention in class - the professor does a great job of explaining the material. Don't be afraid to ask for help, either from your partners in the discussion class or from the professor himself.
