    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class was very tough. Do not take unless required by your major. Or even better, take it at a community college because its a lot of reading and complex to iunderstand

    Course highlights:

Human genetics; transcription, encoding and coding of the DNA. Mendelian genetics and his early works, eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

study study study, make sure to go to office hours, there is usually a curve but don't rely on it. prepare ahead of lecture classes and always do clicker because it adds up. NEVER submit a fake doctors note, they look deeply into it

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend taking Genetics during the Spring Semester. The exams are purely lecture based, which helps out students who do not have enough time to crack open the book and sit for hours and take notes.

    Course highlights:

Dr. Eisenmann is an amazing lecturer as is Dr. Bieberich (they co-teach the course). I was never bored in lecture, and I genuinely enjoyed the material.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you go over all the slides at least once a week!

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Hard class but easier than the fall class set up. Study a lot and make sure you know the practice exams thoroughly.

    Course highlights:

Learn a lot about the genes in our body and how much they affect our behavior!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay ahead on the course work. Go to the teacher for help if you don't understand.
