    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

He is the department head and is an excellent instructor. The course itself is really enjoyable, but having Freuler makes it even more enjoyable. He is very approachable and he genuinely wants his students to succeed.

    Course highlights:

There was on performance test that my group nearly did not accomplish and it was amazing to see all the TAs and Freuler cheering us on and helping us with whatever. I learned to be encouraging and that if you try hard enough you can achieve your goals.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say to manage your time well. There will be a lot of out of class time that can take time away from other classes, but as long as you manage your time well you can get everything done that you need to get done.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course is a good introduction to programing and will be a lot of work. However, be aware that the course will most likely not be what you expect. approximately 15% of the course is engineering with the rest programming. There will be an unnecessary number of assignments but all the assignments are relatively strength forward and easy. The lab portion of the course will be difficult and will be strictly graded, don't put too much effort into the lab reports because you will most likely get a bad grade anyway.

    Course highlights:

This course is an introduction to programming. Students will learn how to program in MATLAB and C/C++. Students will also learn various disjoint facts about engineering. there's also some Excel and Word in the course too.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Honestly if you already have programming experience (as I did) the course will be relatively easy. Take advantage of the extra credit assignments and attend the review sessions and getting an A should be no problem. Defiantly be aware of the lab reports and do NOT try to write a quality report with original thought. The graders look for very specific things in your report (rubric will be provided) and whatever you write will be strictly exactly right or completely wrong. When writing the lab reports just think about what the grader is looking for and include it, and include nothing else.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is very hard but the challenge is worth it. Plus this class can knock out some extra classes with it like a programming class.

    Course highlights:

C/C++, all types of engineering, engineering ethics, Microsoft Office

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do labs early and ask TA's for help
