Course Overview:
I would recommend this course because the applications of stock analysis and fundamental cash flow discounting are applicable to any field of business. This course taught me the basics of how to value a stock in the market.
Course highlights:
I particularly enjoyed the lessons on how to value a stock based on changing dividend growth rate. This lesson helped me to quickly look at the current stock price, given the equity cost of capital and risk of a stock, and determine whether that stock is undervalued or overvalued.

Advice for students:
I would highly recommend that a student do the reading from the book. This will supplement the information covered in the lectures. I would recommend buying a used BA II plus calculator online for a fraction of the cost. Be sure to do as many practice problems as possible in order to fully understand any mistakes that could be made on the exam, especially when it comes to EAR vs APR rates.
