Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The TA explained things in a down to earth manner and worked with me one on one in her office when I didn't understand something. Also, Psych is very important if you're going into a health related field, and even if you aren't its usually a GE so take it and get it out of the way first thing. Don't be one of those seniors having to fit in GE's in order to get your degree last minute.

    Course highlights:

I learned about child development (which is actually pretty cool and has given me ideas about my future parenting styles), our brain and how it works, and different disabilities. I think the highlight would be the information of mental illness and disabilities. There's so many misconceptions and disregard for people with mental illnesses that I was very happy to learn factual information and be able to do away with these preconceptions.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Buy the textbook second hand. We never used the access code anyway. Also, show up to class. Most teachers give you the notes already printed off so you only have to fill in the blanks, so just go to lecture and you'll get all the information. Also, its a good idea to keep up with the readings.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to study the textbook!
