Not too easy. Not too difficult.
This class has its struggles, Jay is a nice guy but his teaching style is not easy to understand. A lot of what is talked about in class can be confusing because he does not relate it back to course content. You will still learn a lot, what you will learn is more general for the industry though, you just need to listen to what he says if you want to learn about things to use in your future.
A highlight for this course is that we learned about many hospitality businesses around the world. You learn a lot about the industry in this class, you learn this mostly in passing though. Jay will ask you to discuss companies and compare the way they are operating or decisions they make.

I would advise that after each exam, go and speak with Jay about your exam. You can also do the Individual project to get extra points (it is not required, it is a bonus). Also, try and get involved in the class discussions.
