    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class was so much fun to take (even as a required course!). Professor Newsom works so hard to engage her students and make each lecture/recitation interesting and applicable to our daily lives. I would highly recommend this course.

    Course highlights:

I learned about bottlenecks, crashing, and other essential operations topics during this intro course. It was extremely interesting, mostly because Professor Newsom is a fantastic instructor.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to go to office hours and always pay attention to lecture--Professor Newsom is the most engaging professor I have ever had, and she always makes each class interesting and worthwhile. I never thought I could be interested in a topic like operations, but she has transformed the subject for me.
