    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Baldwin gives excellent notes. They are concise and well organized. She also is always willing to have extra office hours or give extra help. She also gives exhaustive practice problem sets.

    Course highlights:

Introductory organic chemistry with a focus on radical halogenation, Sn1, Sn2, E1, E2, alkyne and alkene reactions.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all of the practice problems then make up your own. Dr. Baldwin likes to make questions that include more than one type of reaction. Know especially how to predict the products and your basic nomenclature.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the course, but I would recommend Dr. Paul as an instructor. He's more engaging than I found Wysocki to be.

    Course highlights:

This course highlighted the importance of the textbook. The references in the handouts jump from chapter to chapter, but you should still try to read a chapter at a time. I feel now well prepared for my BIOCHEM 5613 course

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You should go to office hours from week 3. I recommend taking it a second time to do a lot better on all the quizzes.
