    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

A very stimulated course working with electricity, magnetism, and light. The class is quite rigorous so do your best at keeping up with the weekly assignments. Lisa will be one of the most enjoyable professors you've had.

    Course highlights:

One highlight of this course is learning, and applying the science used for cutting edge technology. Some concepts that I learned that I find particularly interesting are on the topics of magnetism or light diffraction and even quantum mechanics.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise being well prepared for this course and have an idea of what to expect. This course is going to require close to 10 hours a week outside of class; so consider the coursework you are taking concurrently with the class.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is an advanced level physics course that is needed for engineering or physics majors but unless you are intending to major in one of those two fields, or just genuinely enjoy physics, I would not recommend the course.

    Course highlights:

I learned a great deal about electromagnetism which is a very interesting topic in my opinion. There were several in-class experiments which were very intriguing and sparked interest.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to do all of the homework each week, preferably with the help of a tutor. Also, use the textbook examples as they offer excellent explanations of the topics and provide good additional practice problems.
