Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Clark is a great professor who really makes the class engaging and understandable even for those who dislike chemistry.

    Course highlights:

Dr. Clark is very passionate about each student and making sure they find the best method(s) of learning and studying to ensure that they come out of the class with better study habits specific to their needs and a much greater understanding of chemistry. He breaks down concepts such as stoichiometry into simple steps that make learning each new topic much easier and enjoyable.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Trust the process. Understanding does not happen in a split second. Knowledge has to be built and developed. Constancy is the key to success in this course.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend it as it is very challenging but an interesting course.

    Course highlights:

Dr Zellmer was straightforward in his tests, I learned a lot of what I learned in AP Chemistry so it was pretty much a re run just more in depth.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Study, Read the book, write your notes out before class, ask questions and practice before the exams. Pay attention to small details.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The class is very hard and Dr. Loza makes very hard midterms, but I think she is the best professor to prepare students for future chemistry classes.

    Course highlights:

The lecture was by far the most useful parts of the course, recitation helped but felt rushed. I learned a lot from basic stoichiometry to thermodynamics.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are looking to take multiple chemistry courses she is a very good professor to prepare you, but you need to take notes in and outside of class and do the book problems to do well.
