Course Overview:
Mr. Fowler created a remarkable online course with Calculus One. He gave the internet a meaningful course, along with an interesting website and detailed textbook, which make Calculus a subject anyone with an internet connection and a notepad able to learn.
Course highlights:
Learning how derivatives model change and how to integrate gave me a qualitative appreciation of mathematics. I can love the practical work of calculating because of the appreciation I learned watching Mr. Fowler.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
Bring pencil and paper! You can watch a thousand videos on math, but if you don't write down what you see you'll only succeed in giving yourself a massive headache. Buy some flashcards, sharpen a pencil, and write out the problems in the quizzes Mr. Fowler assigns. You will learn only if you write the processes yourself.

Hours per week:

Advice for students:
Study hard, it's calculus after all. Good professor though.
