    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course because there is so much information that is relevant to the fashion industry which any one who plans to get a job i would need to know. THe professor makes it interesting to learn, and I love learning about all the different fabric types and which one of our specific clothes are made out of. This course is definitely going to be helpful for future internships and jobs. I would 100% recommend this course to anyone interested in fashion!

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of knowledge from taking Textiles. I learned exactly how our clothes were made and why each fabric is specifically chosen for each garment which we wear. The highlights were definitely getting to look at the different types of fabrics and yarns and connecting that to all of the information we learn. It is cool putting every part together to find out how our clothes are made.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Studying is definitely something students will need to be doing to succeed in this course. Studying with a partner is a good option. I think it helped me learn the material better, since it is on the difficult side. Also, making charts is a big tip that I would recommend to use for this course. Charts make material easier to understand and help you connect everything together easier.
