Course Overview:
It's a good class. It's the lower level of stat theory. Some calculus and math background is needed. This first part of this series class is not too difficult to understand compared to the other half.
Course highlights:
It's mainly about probability and distribution stuff, calculation of pdf cdf etc. This is the basis of statistics.

Homework is very important. Some problems are not easy from Casella Berger textbook. But, they are good for quiz, and exams. You need to practice a lot of problems to make sure you are familiar and comfortable using those formulas.
