    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

As far as a chemistry class at Ohio State goes, Dr. Stoltzfus was a great professor to have. The class and material is going to be challenging regardless of where your take it or who teaches the class, but I think Dr. Fus did a very good job of making sure you understood the material and were challenged without feeling like a failure after every class.

    Course highlights:

I was required to take this class for my major, which is the case for 90% of the kids in this class. I personally enjoy chemistry and the material we learned was interesting to me. The part that sucks is how hard they make the class on purpose. I enjoyed the class but hated the tests if that makes any sense.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Plan on spending the majority of your time on this class. I would recommend taking it with a lesser course load and lots of GE's because it is very challenging. Study a little bit every night (yes I'm serious and not just saying this, DO IT!), stay on top of the material, ask questions if you don't understand something, and most importantly, GO TO OFFICE HOURS!
