    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a challenging theology course. When I took it my junior year it was taught by the theology head, Professor Guerra. It takes a look into how philosophies in Catholicism can relate to the world today.

    Course highlights:

The professor pushed your way of thinking and public speaking. Instead of accepting the minimum of answering when spoken to, he challenged you to participate in your thoughts and reflect on why exactly you thought about an idea in the first place. I learned education is the answer to about every question.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the materials and then read them again. This will allow the class to be even more interesting and you will have more depth to your thoughts. Plus, it was pretty embarrassing when he calls you out on not reading.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It really helped to teach about the Church in modern times.

    Course highlights:

I liked that we used film in the first part of the course to learn about nihilism.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

DO THE READINGS! Edit your papers before turning them in. GO TO OFFICE HOURS!
