    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class for anyone who's already begun Latin because it really only becomes more interesting as you go along. In Elementary Latin, one often finds the roots of common English words and is intrigued by the fact that Latin really is the mother of Romance Language. The further one dives into the curriculum, the more these realizations occur, making a better learning experience.

    Course highlights:

This class was where Latin became a bit difficult in terms of learning how to reorganize words when translating from Latin to English, or vice versa. Nevertheless, this difficulty rooted from the fact that the class more heavily dove into real Roman literature, instead of being limited to short, scattered sentences that had no meaning outside of themselves. This gave learning Latin the robust, classical feeling the language is known for.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Reading aloud is very important. Hearing yourself speak the language helps to comprehend quicker when translating. Don't be embarrassed by a "bad" accent (technically no one knows what a Latin accent is).
