    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class was amazing!! I definitely recommend taking it even if you are not a psychology student. It provides an in-depth look at many mental disorders and disabilities.

    Course highlights:

I learned everything from diagnosis & assessment basic to information about specific disorders, like anxiety disorders, eating disorders, substance abuse/use, etc. She is really good about integrating videos about disorders to help her students learn more about them!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the readings before class and come in with questions if you have any. Start studying early--I found making flash cards with each disorder and the highlights of what we learned on them was super helpful.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is incredibly eye opening and informative regarding the field of psychology. The professor goes in depth into the pathology and prevalence of psychological disorders, which would be useful for you to identify or be more mindful of the presence of disorders.

    Course highlights:

The professor was always on point and engaged, her TAs were readily available and helpful with any and all questions, and the material is relatively easy to follow. From these factors, I learned about the pathology of psychological disorders and how to identify and treat them.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed, it would be best to always take notes and make use of the launchpad study program to better absorb the material.
