    Course Overview:

    Portico allows students to explore business in both an academic and applied way. The course requires students to explore different ethical philosophies and how they can be applied to the business world, as well as interact with alumni in the professional world.

    Course highlights:

    Taking this course introduced me to writers such as Immanuel Kant, Ayn Rand and Jeremy Bentham and how their writings can apply to business decisions. Portico stresses the importance of ethics and business and acts as a great transition to collegiate-level coursework.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Take advantage of the collaborative nature of the course. Use your classmates to help you succeed inside and outside the classroom.
