Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to any student wanting to go into the nursing program. You learn so much about the basics of nursing. You also get to be hands-on in lab which is a lot of fun.

    Course highlights:

What I've learned so far is taking a patients blood pressure using a stethoscope and blood pressure cuff, taking a patients temperature, counting patients heartbeats per minute and also breathes per minute. In addition to the hands on practices I've also learned many safety precautions that we as students will have to take in the clinical setting.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you pay attention during class because the teacher goes into detail about everything you need to know. The reading assignments given for homework were very helpful. Also all the other assignments that we had to do online were helpful too.
