    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was difficult not in the complexity of information presented, but more so in the amount of information encompassed in each lecture. Studying could be difficult because there were only 3 exams, so for each exam you had to remember the better part of what you had learned over the past month and a half. With class 3 times a week and hour-long lectures, that's a lot of information. However, there were no cumulative exams so that definitely made it easier.

    Course highlights:

The Professor was quirky and fun, and obviously knew what she was talking about. She made some of the dryer information interesting, however at times she went too fast through the lessons.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book! I didn't and it made my life a lot harder than those who did. It's long and sort of dry, but it will be worth your while. And before you go to the review sessions, be prepared to ask questions. It's much more of a Q & A than an actual review. The TA's don't go over information unless you ask a question about it. Review the review guide that will be given out before each exam in detail and then come prepared with questions.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Intro to Psychology is a great way to see if you are interested in studying psych at Brandeis. However, teachers sometimes make it difficult to enjoy the course so ALWAYS buy the book and read each chapter that is on the test, take it upon yourself to learn, and don't stress because intro courses are supposed to weed out uninterested students.

    Course highlights:

Taking psychology tests is a difficult task because they are made to confuse the students taking it. As the semester goes on, you learn the tests' wording and become a better test taker. The information is expansive but you have many opportunities to discover what topics in psychology interest you.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read all the chapters that the teacher is going over, don't depend on the slides to teach you all of the information. Also make sure to attend your TA's office hours, you could go to your professor's but it is easier to have a closer conversation with your TA.
