Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Taking the Advanced version of WR101 was the best decision I could have made! It was such an amazing feeling to be surrounded by students of your same skill level.

    Course highlights:

I loved being challenged by my classmates - it really helped me become a better writer. I also love the new approach we took to writing essays as well as how much the readings shaped our work. I will never write a paper the same way again!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You will get as much out of this class as you put in. Do the readings and participate in class - you will thank yourself when it comes time to write that paper. Be engaged. You'll learn just as much about yourself as you will your writing!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the subject matter is so wide spread that it fits almost everyone's interests at some point or another.

    Course highlights:

I learnt about different single stories from different authors, and what it's like living in a completely different environment and culture from my own. I learned about comparing different stories and finding the similarities in them as well.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Go over and reread your essays as much as possible and don't be afraid to email or go and talk to the professor if you need help. I ended up being really close with my professor because of all the help that I needed, but I also improved so much over the course.
