Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the subject matter is so wide spread that it fits almost everyone's interests at some point or another.

    Course highlights:

I learnt about different single stories from different authors, and what it's like living in a completely different environment and culture from my own. I learned about comparing different stories and finding the similarities in them as well.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Go over and reread your essays as much as possible and don't be afraid to email or go and talk to the professor if you need help. I ended up being really close with my professor because of all the help that I needed, but I also improved so much over the course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Ricky was helpful, and gives great feedback to help you feel confident in better yourself

    Course highlights:

He showed us a lot of tv shows and movies, but it always connected back to the subject matter, helping me develop my understanding of readings.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it, put your honest opinion into your writing, and be real with Ricky

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course (with this teacher especially) because it helped me develop a discipline when writing. I've become a more focused writer and have thought out writing assignments more extensively since taking the class.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were definitely the writing workshops. There, we were given the opportunity to work with one another and ask for advice. It was all just a friendly environment. In this we learned how to write different forms of essays. Not the best subject I'll admit, but it was made both easy and fun by the professor.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Work on your writing assignments as soon as they're assigned. That one-day rush college students are so well-known for won't work here, as the bigger assignments are often quite complex.
