    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course involved a lot of out of class work like reading and working on projects. I think the professor you have can make or break the class but in this class it was important to stay on schedule and make sure you are finishing work on time.

    Course highlights:

This course gave me more practice working with different types of composition.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are considering this course make sure you will have time outside of class to invest in all of the projects.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking the course as it is very useful for writing techniques. However, I do not think the methods for teaching were very efficient. I often felt as if I was just reading long essays of compact jargon with no real background or followup.

    Course highlights:

Some highlights were when we did group work. I felt that this was very helpful to get some peer review on our work as opposed to just looking at good examples.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say to take everything in stride. The readings are really important, but often times got tedious. Definitely scan the readings and get a general idea for what it is attempting to convey because this will help with class discussions.
