Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is fairly easy, and the material is interesting and varied. It is a good class for krannert majors that need to take a lab science. Dr. Anderson is very quirky, and can be funny but can also be confusing at times. It is her first year at Purdue, so I expect she will get more organized in the future.

    Course highlights:

The labs helped me with lecture a lot more in the bio 111 than bio 110. You learn a very general overview of all biology, and when learning about people and animals, there is a lot of focus on disease or ailment to explain the way the body functions and how that can be disrupted. The course also covers important environmental topics.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study past exams, even if they're from Dr. Boss. Go to lecture and pay attention and take notes. Read. If you do the readings on time, which are long, you can expect an easy A. If you don't read, the class will be hard.
