    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is definitely challenging, but I learned so much and don't regret all the work that I put in to it. It requires a lot of attention throughout the whole semester, but at the end of it you feel very accomplished. Especially good if you're going to be taking the MCAT.

    Course highlights:

You learn each system of the body thoroughly, learning the anatomy and physiology of each. Most anatomy is taught in the lab, while the lecture focuses on physiology and the processes within each system and how they work.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to lecture, rewatch the lectures before exams, take practice exams, rewrite your note sections from memory.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is challenging, but Dr. De teaches you everything you need to know moving forward in a medicine-related major.

    Course highlights:

This course was very in-depth, and for only 2 hours of lecture a week covered a lot of material. The lab is very helpful, and usually provides more instruction or hands-on activities. I learned so much about the human body, and was prepared well for the next semester of anatomy and physiology.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this class seriously, or you won't get much out of it! The quizzes are difficult, but if you study for them, you will help yourself be prepared for the exam. Also, try to find some old exams to study, and definitely do the practice exam!!!
