    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It was quite informative of the overall aviation industry and history. It was a fairly simple but informative course that helped me get closer to my peers.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed learning about the various aspects of aviation history and the development of aviation throughout time, as well as how to identify various aircraft and different airports.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Even though it is not very necessary to read the book that is given, I would definitely advise reading it. It is well-written and fun to read. It is also very interesting to read from the perspective of a modern pilot about his experiences and beliefs. I would also advise studying for the tests. Not very many points are given. So, though they are easily earned, sometimes some of the questions can trip a person up.

It gives you the foundation you need in order to be excellent in the college and future within the industry.

    Course highlights:

METARs and TAFs for weather. Also learning about different scenarios in aviation and having discussions about what to do was great as well.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take as many notes as possible and get to know your professor as well. I would recommend this to know more in-depth about what you are going into in case aviation is not the right industry for you.
