    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Burr made what could be a class based on memorization, a class filled with active learning and personal experience. He kept the class fun by giving his own insights and explaining in ways that we would understand, aside from what the book said. This class helped me learn more than just what to do with business administration, but how to apply Strategic Management to other life experiences too.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of the class was picking an industry to analyze. Prof. Burr let us choose our own industries and that's how I learned so much. I chose something that I wanted to understand and learn about and it motivated me a ton to do thorough research and presenting. Another thing that I liked about the course was the fact that Prof. Burr would go back and forth with us in class to get us to the right answer. We had to come to the conclusion on our own, but with his guidance.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class, read the case studies. Study Porter's Five Forces and SWOT as much as you scroll through Instagram and Snapchat.
