    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Though a challenging course, IE 332 gives students a taste of a wide number of breakthrough technologies, as well as current widespread computing practices. Is an essential course for any future Industrial Engineer. Mario is also a brilliant professor - don't hesitate to ask him questions!

    Course highlights:

A sample of the topics covered in this class: Simulation, coding, hacking, WIFI, security, and many more. Mario explains them in a clear and concise manner, with a very hands-on, project based approach. Be prepared to work in teams, and be sure to be a good team member - it will really help you learn the material in the long run!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to start the homework early. They are not regular homework assignments, more like mini projects, and can take up to 30 hours. Also be proactive about the project. Meet early and often with your team if you want a good grade. Tests are difficult as well. If you can't tell, basically the entire class is hard and you can't slack off.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's required for IE majors, but advice is never wait until last minute to start homework and project phases.

    Course highlights:

Everything you learn somewhat goes hand in hand with what you learn in IE 335, so in general you are learning about how to optimize systems. All about efficiency.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Never wait until last minute to start assignments, and even if the lab is not graded, you should definitely go.
