    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Bridges is incredibly intelligent, and Anatomy and Physiology is one of the most interesting topics I've ever had the pleasure of studying. Who wouldn't want to learn about exactly what is going on in your body, all day, everyday, keeping you alive to read this!!!?

    Course highlights:

Dr. Bridges himself is the biggest highlight. Sweet old man who loves his job teaching you about his passion. He wrote the lecture book you get - its huge - and its amazing. I learned as much as I possibly could. I wrote and highlighted in every page of the lecture manual and I sometimes wanted to be doing anything else, but all my hard work paid off in the end. Since I'm in nursing, yes, I still do use some of the things I learned. Not into as much detail as Bridges will teach you, but learning it at the time is important and if you LOVE what youre learning about, it will be so much easier, trust me!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Read before lecture. Takes notes while you read, takes notes again while Bridges lectures, and re-read after lecture. Really try to understand the material. Watch extra videos on Khan Academy for help explaining difficult topics. Go to office hours and have him talk through things you need help understanding. GO TO CLASS!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is certainly a hard course with a heavy workload, but you will learn so much. If you are going into any kind of a health career, I would highly recommend it.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much about anatomy, disease, and the nervous system!

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Try to study a little each day. Go to lecture as much as you can for extra credit and help from Dr. Bridges, and don't skip any labs, recitations or weekly quizzes! The extra points will help you out so much at the end.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor is awesome, and the course is very interesting. Lots of material though, must keep up with studying.

    Course highlights:

Learned a lot about the body and made it easier to understand while still studying to keep up with the class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You must ensure you are keeping up with the worksheets and lab assignments and post lecture quizzes, falling behind makes it nearly impossible to catch back up with the material.
