    Course Overview:

    Dr. Patterson is a great teacher. He enjoys his career and it shows through his interactions with students.

    Course highlights:

    We were introduced into the many aspects of Animal Agriculture, genetics and different species of animals

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Study all of the notes you have. Compare the notes you take to the notes he gives you pre-printed. Tests will come from both. Go to Office Hours and sit in the front of class.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    The class gives good background information but could be taught more efficiently.

    Course highlights:

    By taking this course you will become familiar with all of the livestock industries and some of the breeds. You will learn the trends of the agriculture industry and the current challenges being faced. This class is a prerequisite for many other classes.

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

    Pay attention to the graphs and numbers displayed on the power points and always learn the trends discussed in lecture.
