    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Originally I thought this course would be about how to manage my money. The course turned out to be about how a company’s accountant would keep them out of hot water by knowing how to fill out journal entries and knowing what would be considered a debt versus a credit and how to write things off and still allow the company to benefit for them. This class simply has not been my cup of tea.

    Course highlights:

While I may not have learned how to fully do my own books I thought it was interesting to see how a company’s accountant would be held responsible for whether the company was hit with large fines or taxes. I knew an accountant had a ton of responsibility but not nearly as much as they did. I have a whole new level of respect for accountants.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I recommend to take full advantage of the tutoring sessions that are offered daily. Whether you feel you know the material or not it will prove beneficial to talk about the subject with someone who knows the subject more than you and odds are they will help you have a deeper understanding for the material being learned.
