Not too easy. Not too difficult.
This was one of my favorite classes because I was able to learn about different situations that people face and how to approach counseling. It was a class that everyone could use because it advices you on how to approach people no matter what place in life they're at or what they're going through. Professor Whittet lectured excellently and always provided stories from his experiences that made our learning more realistic. It was a very laid-back class that allowed the cultivation of ideas and learning.
Professor Whittet was a major highlight as he always used personal experience to make what we learning easier to understand. I enjoyed group work and investigated situations through case studies. I learned how to deal with situations that are often difficult to comprehend including eating disorders, suicide, abortion, etc.

Advice for students:
Go in with an open mind and an eagerness to learn. If you have an early class, make sure to drink coffee because you don't want to miss anything. I advice studying off the study guides as the tests are based off of them. Take good notes and pay attention and you will pass the class!
