    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was strictly lecture. If you are someone who is interested in listening the entire time, then this is the course for you. A lot of it was the professor writing ten words on the board and then in your notes you would explain those ten points. There were planned quizzes every couple weeks and two tests, as well as one writing assignment.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the presidents and their highlights while in office. Most of the course was about presidents and war. I also learned about the reconstruction of states, post war.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are someone who's mind wanders, do not take this course. It is strictly about paying attention and writing your own notes as the professor explains. Overall this class wasn't too hard because I have a sharp attention span which made it easy to follow the professor and take notes.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a class that I feel everyone needs to take in order to truly understand and appreciate history. So often we are fed lies by omission in our textbooks in the United States. If you have ever been curious about what actually happened in the United States, please, take this course. Diane Beers is one of the best professors I have ever had and I promise you will love her to.

    Course highlights:

I gained a substantial amount of knowledge of the history of the United States because I was shown the true history and not the fairy tales. Everything I learned about history in grade school could not have been less true.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you wish to get an A in this course you will need to stay on top of your readings and critical responses, along with ensuring that you participate substantially in the class discussions.
