    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's an exciting course to take if you like to be challenged.

    Course highlights:

I gained a full understanding of what accounting is really all about. A business depends on you to make sure their finances are in order it's complex and time consuming however it's something everyone should know even if they don't expect to follow the road of an accounting major but just as a business owner you want to know what all those numbers mean.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

From the jump stay on task miss an assignment you can easily fall behind and it would take alot to get back on track once that happens. If you don't know something correspond with the professor let them guide you that's what they are there for.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the professors do an exceptional job in teaching the material and is always willing to lend a helping hand.

    Course highlights:

Some of what this course entailed was a review for me because I took an accounting class in high school, but after the first couple of chapters everything connects and comes together. Some chapters, honestly, do not make complete sense until a further chapter later on is completed, but in the end it's crazy how it all connects...almost like a big spider web.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to space things out well, do some homework for this class each night. If you know you have practice or work or another prior engagement, double up on the work you put in the night before, or stay after school to work on it. If you fall behind, it starts to become very difficult to catch up. Be sure to ask for help or get a tutor if you do not understand something, this is SUPER IMPORTANT because it will only improve your grade.
