    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although this was only a 2 day a week course, the teacher was able to explain the material and give us examples to practice as a class that made everyone comfortable and familiar with the work. I would highly recommend this professor, not only does she obviously know the material thoroughly, she also is always in a great mood, easy to talk to, answers questions and has inspired me to major in accounting.

    Course highlights:

We learned basic accounting procedures for partnerships and corporations. We also learned more detailed information on subjects we were introduced to in accounting 111, such as liabilities, tax regulations, different stock a company can sell, and how to record that.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes! McGraw Hill is the application that my school uses for accounting courses. Completing the interactive presentations, classwork, and homework will definitley help in making the material make sense. If you have any questions you should ask peers (I never mind when people ask me for help, in fact I think I also benefit from it as a review) or ask your teacher. The information can easily get mixed up or confusing if you don't get your questions answered or confusion resolved.
