    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Fan is amazing! She does a great job of catering to students who have absolutely no programming experience AS WELL AS to students who have knowledge of programming languages.

    Course highlights:

This is a great introduction to computer science - it covers a wide range of topics, starting from basic loops and if-statements and ending with object oriented programming. At Cornell, the next course in the computer science series is object oriented programming, this course offers a great start to the more complex concepts that are covered later on. Projects are completed with a partner - great opportunity to meet fellow CS majors/engineers.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Start projects immediately after they are released - do not wait until the last minute. Use consulting hours and office hours as much as possible to aid in debugging projects and understanding concepts. Every concept builds off the previous one so make sure you understand the current material before trying to move on.
