    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a course that I would not recommend to a student who has another alternative of general chemistry to take however if you are pre-med, a chem major, or any other kind of related area of study then you are stuck with it. It is pretty difficult however, looking back I realized that I could have taken more advantages of the resources that were offered for the class because there were quite a few.

    Course highlights:

The sections that were focused on are as follows: trends in the periodic table lewis structures and molecular geometries thermochemistry quantum theory (orbitals, waves, and stuff) There may be other sections but I my be forgetting, either way it is clearly stated in the syllabus.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Enroll in 1007, like actually enroll, don't say that you'll just go to the class when you need to because you won't or when you do it may not be as helpful. Also go to the 1007 tutors!! I realized that they are just as , often more helpful than the gen chem TA office hours because they are undergrads that just took the course and know the ins and outs of material. 1070 may be helpful too but really only the practice prelims, everything else is not as helpful.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's likely a requirement for most students, however since you're in the class, try to get the most out of it! Labs were definitely better than the ones in 2080. I liked that we learned a lot, and that it was challenging (although grades always makes the challenge less fun).

    Course highlights:

Highlights included demos and having the satisfaction of seeing hard work pay off.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the problem sets, review each lecture, and swing by 1007! The more practice the better!
