Not too easy. Not too difficult.
This is a fascinating class that touches on a huge topic of art history, and most certainly the most famous. The Renaissance was an era that many typically relate with art and the development of sculpture, painting and architecture. This course will inform you about all of this, and the next time you visit any museum, you'll look at art with a totally new and engaging point of view.
Learning how to analyze paintings with little information was awesome! Although lecture is mostly the professor just talking about artists, paintings, developments, you begin to understand how she analyzes pieces, and you start to do it on your own. The papers are a way to show this, and although they were tough, I really enjoyed putting my own thought and analysis into art.

Advice for students:
Read the textbook! Although it's not necessary for lecture or section or even the tests for that matter, it'll give you a solid base of overarching themes and developments of the time. Very helpful when periodizing pieces into an era, and it's extremely helpful when you feel lost in all the art.
