Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course serves as an introduction to programming using Python language. With seven large assignments and weekly labs, the course was fairly rigorous but very fair and interesting. This course solidified my plan of becoming a Computer Science major.

    Course highlights:

The big highlight of the course for me was the final project, Breakout. In two weeks, we were expected to build a complete version of the classic arcade game Breakout, given nothing more than a skeleton. Although it took numerous hours and many long nights, the final outcome was incredible and I was fascinated to see the just a sneak peak of the capabilities of programming.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Try to learn the basics of Python a week before class, as Proffesor White moves over material very quickly and you may get lost if you don't have a solid coding foundation.
