Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Python is a great introductory programming language. This course can teach you the material and provide adequate practice, without being overly complicated.

    Course highlights:

The highlight would be designing a simple, yet nice looking game. It is not too difficult to make, but puts all the skills you have learned to good use.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Start EARLY on projects and do not be afraid to find extra help, because the TAs are more than glad to help you learn and understand the material.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Take this course in the fall semester with professor Walker White. He knows the subject inside and out and this class is what inspired me to change my major to Computer Science.

    Course highlights:

This course is for everyone who is affected by code in their daily lives -- not just the obvious things like apps or websites, but also things like cars and airplanes that can be operated through computers. We are all affected by code, so everyone should have some idea of what coding actually is.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't be nervous, especially since computer science majors often like to pretend they know more than they actually do.
