Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course, a study of the Odyssey and related works, is a wonderful introduction into epic poetry and translations from Greek. Taking this class as an engineer, it was a nice relief from the constant onslaught of math and science that I endure in all my other classes. It exercises the part of your brain that makes you think critically a little differently than doing problem sets does.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were all the fun little games we played in class. Professor Karmin did a good job keeping me interested in the material with all these games.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Allow time for quite a bit of reading.
