Pretty easy, overall.
This class is a fantastic introduction to Civil and Structural Engineering. The course is well taught by a faculty member who cares about his students and the subject matter and he presents the material in a way that is interesting. Because of this class, I am seriously considering majoring in Civil Engineering.
The highlight of this class is without a doubt the Pasta Bridge Project. Groups of five students come together and build a bridge out of pasta and it is then tested to destruction in the lab. It is a wonderful example of a project that brings together comprehensive concepts from the whole course.
