    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This is a fairly easy yet informative course on the world of fungus. You can either take it as a 2 credit course with just lectures, or as a 3 credit course with the addition of a lab. The lab activities are fun, and a lot of times filled with food. The tests are straightforward. If you read over the lecture slides, you'll definitely know what's on the test.

    Course highlights:

I learned that mycology is actually a pretty interesting field. We had a lot of interactive labs where we hunted for mushrooms and even grew our own. We also learned how fungus affects agriculture and the food supply. The best part of the course was probably the mushroom feast at the end of the semester.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class and take some notes. If you don't, then it is worth it to buy the Takenote.
