    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was a quality Chemistry course that really introduced you to the subject material.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were definitely the fun, interactive activities Dr. Goebbert provided to the class. I learned everything about Chemistry that a basic Chemistry course is designed to teach.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would definitely say attend class and read your textbook. If you do both of those the class becomes much easier.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Goebbert was a very impressive professor. His love of the science and respect for the students were displayed both in his teachings and testings. He was very thorough in his descriptions and I learned many concepts that will carry with me towards graduation. Though chemistry is not my intended major, I can see the importance of such a field and the impacts of those involved.

    Course highlights:

This course largely focused on atoms, molecules, and the ways in which they interact. Whether it's due to an acid-base mixture or an ionic-covalent bond, the structures and shapes of such compounds are emphasized and their bonds are clearly defined.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study for exams in advance and complete your lab reports as soon as possible. The material may be difficult, but with some help from fellow students and Dr. Goebbert's office hours, you can memorize and apply the textbook information.
