    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Not only was a class to furthermore learn about the history of blacks but it also kept you informed about the current events going on in the world. Also, there was always something new that each student could discover. You went further into depth about the basis of African American history.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were discussing the current events that occurred in the world. We learned about these events through different sources for example Twitter. Our professors was also a very wise woman. She assigned very interesting articles that were always enjoyable to read even if you didn't think that you would enjoy it. I also enjoyed the many class discussions we had because it was interesting to hear different opinions on a topic. Sometimes other students opinions changed your perspective on things.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to students taking this course is to really engage in class discussions and read the assigned articles so that you can be involved and understand what is going on. When no participates in discussions they can be pointless and defeats the purpose of hearing different opinions about a topic.
