    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I didn't necessarily hate the class, but Dr. Reid is the most boring professor you can ever imagine. She teaches off of power points, but she doesn't put everything she is saying onto the power point itself. So when she finally gives you the study guide for your exam you can't find the answers to the questions because you didn't write down what she was saying in class word-for-word.

    Course highlights:

Did not learn much. Missed a lot of class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to every class. Read all the readings. Study hard for the exams. Print out her exam study guides in advance so you'll know what to take notes on.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Though this was the biggest lecture class I have ever taken, Dr. Reid did her best to accommodate all of her students. With multiple ways to earn credit in the class, she helped students to achieve their full potential and allow for an environment to foster and share her love for sociology.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed class because her clicker questions were extra credit and she would often directly engage with students. She would walk through the aisles and always had interesting anecdotes to help better understand the course material.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you go to class!! She provides lots of helpful information in addition to her lecture slides. Also, do all of the extra credit essays! They will help a lot in the long run and can help to make up for any missed classes or assignments.
