    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

He is the most boring lecturer of all time. Even if you are passionate about IR you will hate this class. Also he assigns a 10 page paper worht 25% of your class that he gives no rubric for.

    Course highlights:

He does accept doctors note for excusing absences.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

He also gives pop quizzes regularly and is a harsh grader. I love IR and I hated this class. Its a tough class to make a good grade in unless you want to read 50 pages of a text book weekly. My advice would be to not take him.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

He is very power point based (just reads off the power points) and his tests are cumulative and doesn't give outlines. He is very opinionated and laughs at you opinions if they don't agree with yours.

    Course highlights:

He gives a lot of points for participation and he knows everyone's name in class, which I appreciate.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Attendance is mandatory. He is very one on one and easy to talk to. There is a lot of readings and also current events.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The class is very interesting. We explore various traditions of international relations like liberalism, realism, constructivism, and rationalism. Professor Hutto is a great lecturer and is very clear.

    Course highlights:

I have learned about foreign policy, the causes of war, and international cooperation.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to be successful in PSC 204, students will need to take good notes on the lecture slides. The quiz questions come directly from the notes.
