    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Hoda El-Karasky really enjoys teaching, but she can be hard to follow. She likes to write on the board and assumes you have read the textbook chapter that is relevant to each class. Attendance is not mandatory but definitely recommended. If you go to class enough, you can get bonus points at the end of the course!

    Course highlights:

This course taught me what macroeconomics is much better than EC 111. We went over economic variables as well as national and international economies. I really appreciated my knowledge of the exchange rate after this class on my trip to study abroad in Europe this summer.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Buy the textbook! Read it, take notes on it, and bring your notes to class. If you already have a brief understanding of the material, class is just a review and you can study less for the test.
