    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking this class with Dr. Roberts if you like a professor with a fast/steady pace and if you're a fast note taker.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much about the world of Communications. It is so much more than an intro course but very very informative. One highlight for me was live tweeting during class while we learned about the internet and how it changed the world.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Students considering this class should do their best to actually pay attention in class. I've noticed so many people sitting in the back of a large lecture hall watching Netflix while complaining about their grade....you will definitely get out what you put into this class.

    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I took this class online and it was a great introductory class; I felt like I learned a lot about mass communication. Dr. Roberts is very accommodating and helpful to students even though the class was online.

    Course highlights:

I learned a great deal about how mass communication works today, and it truly does affect everyone. I also found it interesting to learn about the historical aspect of mass communication because there were a lot of things that I never would have thought about that would bring us to where we are today.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are taking this course, make sure you do all of the assignments and always follow the instructions carefully. It is not that difficult as long as you pay attention, take notes, and put forth the effort. I think you will definitely enjoy this class.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor isn't great at explaining things and doesn't make you love the class. The textbook is a good read and interesting. The book is very outdated and is vague about the future. The tests are broad and hard.

    Course highlights:

You learn about books, social media, and introduction to mass communications. How you can present something and communicate with people. The different types of communication.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

The tests are incredibly important since that's the only thing that count for the class.
